Just to start off, social media is my life. There's nothing I love more than checking and posting on my Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, YouTube Channel and many other sites. At the end of the day, my life is built around social media. For the most part, I find social media to be a positive and progressive outlet for news and other media. If I need to check the news, Twitter is usually the first place I will go. It's just more convenient for me.
But to combat the good, of course we have the bad. With all this sharing and new way of reaching people, cyber bullying is rapidly becoming a problem in today's youth. It is so much easier to call someone rude names via social media then face to face, but at the same time causes far more drama.
At the end of the day, this the direction our world is going. Social media will continue to grow as a source of news, humor, drama, etc.
