Three Uses

Something struck me while reading this article that I've never noticed before. It truly is the play, books, songs, poems, and dances that make us unsure or are unusual that leaves the biggest impression on us. I find this very interesting because you would assume that it would be the ones that we understand that we will tend to remember, but more likely than not, that's not the case. I also found very interesting how the author said that it's not the dramatist's job to bring about a social change. It's because of their actions that inspires heroism in others. Even though the author states that the purpose of art is not to change but to delight, I might argue that even though art's purpose may not be to cause change, it does cause inspiration which can lead to change.
