I HAVE NEVER USED FACEBOOK (for malicious purposes). When you put it that way it sounds pretty weird, but the age of anonymity has killed peoples filter, they don't mind saying whatever they want about you or anyone else. In fact, its easier for online trolls to think about people this way, because they have been enabled. There are no real repercussions  for saying those kinds of things. But aside from that chestnut, connectedness with friends is what most of the people who use Facebook, Twitter or Instagram are looking for, and without trollin' peeps it's not such a bad thing.
