I did my digital media review on Friday. I picked this day because I only have two classes that are spread through- out the day, and I knew I was going to see a lot of digital media. I was exposed to a lot of social media; I came back to Instagram and Twitter a lot through-out the day. I also listened to Spotify frequently. I noticed I came in contact with logos and designs as the day progressed. The media I came in contact with the most was social media. But, I'd say I played video games the most through-out the day. I think video games are a great digital media. It is not only a game; games today can bring in a lot of other Medias into it. Games can use music, actual movie clips, famous logos, and you can even hook your Facebook to what you play to show other people what games you have been playing and what you have achieved in the games you play. Even though video games are a new form of media, I believe it will be a very important from of media that will be used in the future. I also noticed I spent a good amount of time on YouTube. I think this is a great Media outlet. Everyone in the world can share simple videos of what is going on in their lives. I can lie I spent almost all of my time on YouTube watching Rhett and Link. They are probably my favorite video bloggers out there today. Friday is usually my day to catch up on their videos they posted through-out the week. Something’s I learned about myself is that I spend a lot of time play video games. I also go and check social media multiple times a day. I never thought I was one of those people who are addicted to Social Media.
