Seemed like common knowledge

This article seemed like common knowledge to me. Don't disrespect others on the internet, be courteous to others, follow the rules that are given, and don't bully. But I guess there are people somewhere who really didn't know these guidelines. I can see how it is helpful to people who misuse the internet, or helpful to people who are completely new to the internet. Not everyone knows to be nice, and therefore they must be told. It also expands the idea of online learning. I guess I had never thought that just using the internet to research topics can actually be considered "online learning." Usually I think online learning is when you are in your room, in your pjs, watching videos, and filling out worksheets. The internet is an amazing resource that should not be wasted. And it's great that people take the time to explain the "Netiquette."
