single take and the knife

I thought it was really cool watching all the single take videos. In high school on youth group mission trips, I was apart of a group of guys that made funny story videos and it was all on single take but all planned out.  Single take really adds a fun, unique element to filming that you take away when you can just stop and reshoot scenes.  I really thought the knife analogy was interesting, the way the media presents information to us is almost a form of subliminal messaging in the way it influences our society.
