Instagram Project

I was in Canada for spring break and so I chose to take pictures of my experience there. When my roommate went to Japan over J-term, she bought this cat. We decided to name him Gregory and we pretend that we are his mom's and we adopted him. And so I thought it would be fun to bring him on our trip and take pictures with him in it like as if he was experiencing Canada as well. Each picture that I took tells a story or symbolizes something significant that happened on my trip. For example, the first and last pictures shows the time that our trip began and the time that it ended. The rest of the pictures may seem random, like the picture with the box of Lucky Charms, but they all mean something. That picture of the Lucky Charms shows that in Canada, their cereal boxes are massive compared to America's cereal. Also, I ate Lucky Charms every single morning when I was in Canada. It's also my favorite cereal. My favorite picture of the project would have to be the one where Gregory is wearing the glasses. This picture just looks sort of vintage and I really like it. It was taken in a car that my roommate rented for the week, which was really exciting because it was the first "adult" thing we have ever done. The trip was a great experience and I'm so glad that I could capture some of my favorite parts for this project.
