Not having any former knowledge of music videos, it was really cool to be able to go through an actual timeline and see how music videos have evolved. Seeing a "music video" like the creepy dancing pig to Michael Jackson's Thriller was incredible to see how far we have been able to go in media today. It was interesting to see the different ways the directors used to get the story across, some were really good, others were like "what the heck are they thinking".
I thought the article was interesting and fun at the same time because they talked about how good MTV was and how it was used to get artist and songs more recognized. Then people started moving towards the internet more so MTV died and the internet took over. I thought it was funny that they talked about Myspace and how good that was, but that died fairly quickly and they never even mentioned YouTube yet.
